Laboratory Engineer

Gasera Ltd is looking for Laboratory Engineers

Key Responsibilities:
● Work under the guidance of our experienced team to learn and develop necessary skills.
● Independently manage analyzers’ calibration and testing prior to the instrument delivery to our international customers after a training period.
● Collaborate with the technical production team to diagnose, repair and recalibrate instruments returned to Gasera service.
● Manage schedules and work organisation independently with a systematic approach and attention to detail.
● Utilise SW programs for data analysis and reporting.
● Communicate effectively with the Gasera team, and take care of process documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:
● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
● Experience: 1-5 years of working experience.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment. Experience in calibration, testing and analytical instruments is beneficial.
● Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel. Google tools (docs, sheets), CAD tools and programming tools (Labview, Python, Octave) experience is advantageous.
● Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
● Languages: Proficiency in English is required; Finnish language skills are a benefit but not mandatory.

Location:
● On-site at Gasera Ltd’s main facility located in Turku, Finland.
