*SOLD OUT* – OPD Exhibition will be located at UEF, Carelia 1st floor lobby area.
Exhibition will be arranged during 31 May – 1st of June (please notice that OPD starts at 30th of May with side events and Get Together). It provides a great opportunity to reach the whole photonics community in Finland, from Industry to Academia. Also it is a great place to meet new talents for your recruiting needs. Exhibitor fee is 1100 EUR + VAT 24% and for Photonics Finland members 800 EUR + VAT 24 (It is economically reasonable to use this option. For more information please visit here). Exhibition Fee includes a table in the exhibitor area, full conference program (lectures, lunches, dinner) for a single person. The additional person fee is equal to the regular attendee fee.
Visitors has a FREE entrance (requires registration) to the OPD Exhibition on 1st of June from 12.00 to 15.00 hours. Please notice that free registered visitors can only enter to the exhibition area located in the 1st floor.

How to Register as an Exhibitor
- Login to Conftool account with your previous account details or create a new user account by providing your email and new password, then press continue.
- After you have successfully logged in or created new user account you are able to register to OPD2023 as an exhibitor.
- For registering, select “Register as Participant” and that leads you in “Participant Status Information” selection.
- Select “Exhibition booth” or “Exhibition booth, Photonics Finland member” depending on your membership status. Then select “Proceed to Step 2: Event and Item Selection”
- If you would like to register as a Gold- or Silver sponsor (limited amount), which includes the Exhibition and first priority to select table, you are able to make the selection when “Proceed to Step 2: Event and Item Selection”
- Also for exhibitors there are several Co-sponsoring options available, and can be found after you select your Participant Status and “Proceed to Step 2: Event and Item Selection”.
Exhibition Area
Exhibition places are numbered and selected by following the registration order.
- Exhibition space: approx. 1.6m x 1.6, total 2,5 m2 including a table: 70x120cm two chairs and white tablecloth + electricity bar for your equipment.
- Exhibitors can bring their own roll-ups, or other exhibition setups i.e. expo- or flyer stands etc. Please notice that the exhibition is Sold Out and setups needs to be inside the area of 1.6m. Recommendation is to bring two 80cm wide rollups. Maximum is two 85cm wide rollups, which would be a bit overlapping each other.
Exhibitors pitch
All exhibitors have possibility to promote their company in exhibitors pitch session. Exhibitors will be shared in session 1 or 2 based on the registration order and this will be informed closer to the event. See details for the pitch session below:
- Only 1 minute / max 2 slides (no slide-animations) presentations. So basically ”Elevator Pitch” logic. Keep it snappy and interesting!
- Please send your slides to tuukka.pakarinen@photonics.fi as a powerpoint (ppt). Deadline is 25th of May 2023.
Move in schedule
- Exhibitors move in is Tuesday 30th May starting at 13:00 and until 18:00. The venue organizer will set up the tables and electricity ready for the exhibitors.
- The Exhibition hours are Wednesday 31st of May at 9:00 and until 16:00.
- Thursday 1st of June at 9:00 and until 15:00 (we kindly ask you to respect the exhibition hours, and start dismantle after 15:00. Also Please notice the FREE visitor hours on Thursday 1st of June 12:00 – 15:00).

Exhibitor logistics / shipping OUT from UEF, Carelia
If you need to leave something to be picked up after the exhibition you can leave them to the venue either on a pallet or something with wheels on them. If you need to leave behind something very large, please negotiate about it beforehand with the venue.
- Parcels needs to be fully packed with shipping labels ready. Please add Information of the courier that will pick your parcel(s), and pick up date / time.
- Please add your contact information to your shipments.
- All pick ups needs to be done on Friday 2nd June 2023 during 9.00 – 16.00.
